Black K.A.R.E. Initiative

The LaGrange (Ga) Chapter of the Links, Incorporated has been selected to receive a Black K.A.R.E. Initiative sub-grant from The Central Area of the Links, Incorporated.

The primary goal of the Black K.A.R.E. Initiative is to raise awareness of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) in Black communities, with a focus on its risk factors, complications, treatment – and how to reduce the risk of kidney failure and/or improve outcomes for people living with the condition.

We invite you to join us on this journey to fight CKD and slow its impact on our families, friends and neighbors by visiting Black Kidney Awareness, Resources, and Education (K.A.R.E.) website.

Are you at risk for kidney disease? To find out, take a quick quiz from the Kidney Foundation.
